Love the TV, the extended service plan was a joke, do not waste your time or money. The people do not read their mail nor can you make changes or corrections over the phone. Do not know what I will do if the TV needs service and will consider this next time I buy a large item like this on line.
We are very happy with our TV, but after a month, still have not received our extended service plan. I contacted the company and they apologized for the delay, but still haven't received it. I hope to see it in the next week, so I don't have to follow up again.
I don't think I could pass up on this deal for the price and the service they promise for this warrenty. Just bought for piece of mind. Hope I never need it.
Be forewarned, as nothing I've read about the item makes this clear, the DOP means this warranty begins when you purchase it, unlike most extended warranties that begin when the original expires. I purchased this recommended item on the same order as my TV on the assumption it would behave like 99% of warranties sold with big ticket items(when I should have researched the DOP addendum more carefully).Receiving my contract in the mail several weeks after the TV I noticed the expiration date, and called Samsung who told me to contact the company providing the warranty, indicated in the fine print on the back, to try and get the date changed.Although Samsung could not provide a phone number I tracked down this company and left several unreturned voicemails. Giving up with them I turned to Amazon, who informed me it was a Date-of-Purchase warranty.Samsung tries hard to be helpful on the phone and I'm confident they provide the purchased service, but, its hard not to be disappointed when they can't help you resolve this issue and you've wasted the money. Love the TV though.
To whom It May Concern:To this day, I haven't receive this product. I don't know what happened but I would like to get some help with this problem. Thanks,Serge Libioulle
